ALBAS, beautiful village in the center of the Lot valley and the Cahors vineyard, used to be one of the most important port for transporting the Cahors
wine towards Bordeaux.
This land belonged to my mother's ancestors, who cultivated not only vine but also saffron, tobacco...
This wine-growing area of the Lot Valley is a major artery for
its inhabitants and the region.
It has passed through prosperity and troubled times and overcome diseases and climate hazards.
In 1968, my grandparents handed over this land and vineyards to my mother, Odile Pelvillain. Together with my father Claude, they
developed and expanded the vineyard, placing my family as a major player in contemporary history and renaissance
of the wine of Cahors.
